My experience in university teaching has been a rich and diverse academic journey, spanning several years and various fields of knowledge, which has significantly enhanced my scientific and pedagogical expertise. I began teaching Kurdish studies in 2013 at the College of Physical Education and Sports Sciences at the University of Duhok, where I focused on presenting fundamental concepts related to Kurdish identity and culture within a structured academic framework.
From 2014 to 2019, my teaching experience expanded to the College of Basic Education, where I taught Kurdish studies to students in various departments, including History, English, Psychology, Science, and Mathematics. This diversity of disciplines allowed me to develop flexible teaching methods that consider the individual differences and diverse academic backgrounds of my students, while emphasizing the connection of the material to cultural and social realities.
From 2021 to 2026, I taught in the Kurdish Language Department, where I taught a range of specialized courses, including administration and supervision, folklore, literary studies, and research methodology. This period contributed to deepening my academic experience, particularly in the areas of academic supervision and developing students' research skills.
In the 2025–2026 academic year, I taught folklore to students in the Kurdish Language Department at the College of Basic Education/Amadiya. My focus was on highlighting the importance of folklore as a fundamental component of cultural identity, employing modern analytical methods in the study of folk texts.
My academic activities include a range of scholarly and media engagements aimed at supporting scientific research and fostering intellectual exchange in the field of Kurdish language and literature. I have participated in over 15 academic workshops covering linguistic, literary, and methodological topics, and I have attended more than 10 scientific conferences that have contributed to the exchange of academic expertise and discussions of the latest research developments.
In addition, I presented a television program called "Chira" on ATV for a year, which addressed cultural and linguistic issues relevant to the academic community and the general public. I also worked for nine months as the presenter of the program "Vaver" on the University of Duhok radio station, where the program focused on intellectual, cultural, and literary issues.
These engagements reflect my commitment to expanding the scope of academic activity beyond the traditional university setting and connecting scientific research with media and cultural platforms, thereby contributing to the promotion of the Kurdish language and the dissemination of academic awareness within the community.
