MSc in Image Process, College of Science, University of Duhok, 2023.

BSc in Computer science, College of Science, University of Duhok, 2013.

My teaching experience reflects a strong commitment to developing students’ technical competencies in core areas of computer science. I have taught a range of subjects, including computer skills, image processing, and operating systems, with a focus on building both theoretical understanding and practical proficiency. In computer skills, I guide students through essential digital tools and problem-solving techniques that form the foundation for advanced study. My teaching in image processing emphasizes fundamental concepts, algorithmic approaches, and hands-on experimentation, enabling students to analyze and manipulate visual data effectively. Additionally, my instruction in operating systems covers system architecture, process management, and resource allocation, helping learners understand how modern computing environments function. Through these courses, I aim to foster analytical thinking, technical accuracy, and confidence in applying computing knowledge to real-world challenges.

My academic activities demonstrate a sustained commitment to institutional service and educational development. From 2014 to 2020, I served as a staff member in the Program Fair, contributing to the organization, coordination, and presentation of academic programs to students, faculty, and visitors. This role allowed me to support outreach initiatives and promote departmental achievements within the broader academic community. In addition, I have held the position of Head of the Bologna Process in the Science Department, where I have overseen curriculum alignment, quality assurance procedures, and the implementation of standardized academic frameworks. Through these responsibilities, I have played an active role in enhancing program quality, ensuring transparency in academic standards, and strengthening the department’s alignment with international higher-education practices.

Ramadhan, D. S., & Al-Khaffaf, H. S. M. (2022). Symbol spotting in electronic images using morphological filters and hough transform. Science Journal of University of Zakho-doi.org/10.25271/sjuoz.2022.10.3.874

My research primarily focuses on the intersection of image processing and artificial intelligence, with particular attention to how intelligent computational techniques can enhance the analysis, interpretation, and application of visual data. I am interested in developing AI-driven models capable of improving image recognition, segmentation, and classification, as well as exploring machine learning approaches that increase accuracy and efficiency in visual computing tasks. Additionally, I aim to investigate how advanced image-processing algorithms can support real-world applications such as medical imaging, security systems, and automated visual inspection. Through this work, I seek to contribute to the growing field of AI-supported vision technologies and advance innovative solutions to complex visual challenges.
